In short, it’s a little bit of everything. Ayurveda means "the science of life" and life is a little bit of everything —diet, emotions, obligations, exercise, relationships, spiritual pursuits, and daily routines.
Get to know your unique constitution. The System of Ayurveda appears quite simple in its application. It understands that our constitution is as unique as the weather and our individual requirements change depending on the time of year, what food we eat, our age and what activities we do. It uses preventative health techniques like massage and yoga therapy; it considers whole food choices according to proper food combinations; and it teaches us simple tools to maintain good balance.
Say what you mean. Ayurveda helps us understand that what we do, think, feel, eat, buy and expose ourselves to affects our relationships. From there, we can alter things to improve our lives.
Understand your body energetically. You can restore your natural state of health and wellness by gently cleansing your body of toxins, bringing balance into your system and improving bodily function. Ayurveda, a sister science to yoga, has time tested methods that rejuvenate the body systems which will also help you sustain this process by making positive changes in your lifestyle.
Get more grounded . . . and more awake. Spring and Fall months are perfect times to shift gears. Make life choices that support a healthy body, hormones, and spirits, wherever you may be, and in whatever stage of life or wellness you find yourself.
